Alila Shanghai

Alila Shanghai brings the brand’s resort sensibility into one of the city’s most central neighborhoods. Its Jing’an setting places guests close to historic Zhangyuan as well as major shopping, culture and business districts.

Inside, the hotel deliberately lowers the volume. Natural materials, greenery and quiet communal spaces create a softer counterpoint to the pace of central Shanghai.

The guestrooms continue that calm approach, while Spa Alila, the pool and library give the property enough depth to feel like more than a place to sleep between meetings or sightseeing.

Dining draws on Shanghai flavors and local sourcing, and the rooftop bar adds a more social layer with broad views over the surrounding city and heritage rooftops.

For travelers who want to be in the middle of Shanghai without staying in a conventionally corporate luxury hotel, Alila offers a distinctive balance of location and retreat.
