Designed by Philippe Starck, Brach Madrid turns a historic Gran Vía address into a warm, eclectic hotel with just 57 rooms and an unusually ambitious wellness program.
Brach Madrid occupies a historic building on Gran Vía, placing the hotel directly in the energy of central Madrid with shopping, theaters and many of the city’s major sights within walking distance.
Philippe Starck’s design mixes wood paneling, leather, ceramics, wicker and collected objects to create a layered sense of “modern nostalgia” rather than the sleek minimalism common to new luxury hotels.
The hotel has only 57 rooms and suites, which keeps the experience relatively intimate despite the high-profile location. Top-floor suites add large terraces and panoramic views over Madrid’s rooftops.
La Capsule is one of the property’s defining features, with more than 400 square meters dedicated to wellness and longevity through treatments, fitness, traditional therapies and high-tech recovery tools.
