COMO The Treasury transforms Perth’s restored State Buildings into a serene 48-room urban retreat with monumental rooms, destination dining and a striking indoor pool.
COMO The Treasury sits in Perth’s historic State Buildings at Cathedral Square, placing the city’s central business, cultural and riverfront districts immediately outside.
Designer Kerry Hill reworked the 19th-century government buildings without erasing their original scale. High ceilings, oversized windows, dormers and heritage details give the 48 rooms and suites unusually strong architectural character.
Even entry categories are large by urban-hotel standards, starting around 45 square metres. Handcrafted furnishings and travertine create a calm, minimalist counterpoint to the weight of the historic shell.
COMO Shambhala occupies the former vault areas and includes treatment rooms, sauna, rooftop fitness and a 20-metre heated indoor pool. Wildflower and the wider State Buildings dining collection make food another central attraction.
COMO The Treasury is best for travelers who want Perth’s heritage and contemporary design in equal measure, with enough wellness and dining depth to make a city-center stay feel genuinely restorative.
