Falling Rock sits within Nemacolin’s 2,200-acre Laurel Highlands estate in western Pennsylvania, overlooking golf and wooded hills from one of the resort’s quietest corners.

Architect David Merritt, who studied under Frank Lloyd Wright, designed the building around principles of organic architecture, using stone, geometric detailing and strong connections to the landscape.

Rooms and suites are intimate in scale compared with a giant resort tower, and the experience is elevated by dedicated boutique butler service assigned to each leisure stay.

A private seasonal infinity pool and Sunset Terrace are reserved for Falling Rock guests, while Nemacolin’s golf, spa, casino, restaurants, art, outdoor adventure and broader resort facilities remain available across the estate.

Falling Rock is best for travelers who want Nemacolin’s enormous range of activities without sleeping in its busiest areas, especially couples seeking a more architectural and service-intensive retreat.
