Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr occupies five hectares in Rabat’s Quartier de l’Océan, directly facing the Atlantic and only minutes from the Medina and Kasbah of the Udayas.

Kasr Al Bahr was built between 1792 and 1799 as Sultan Moulay Slimane’s summer residence and later served as a military hospital before reopening as Four Seasons in 2024.

The resort contains 200 rooms and suites across 11 buildings—six historic and five new—with zellige tile, stained glass, brass and copper details used throughout the contemporary Moroccan interiors.

Most rooms include a balcony or terrace, while the Sultan’s Riad occupies the original royal residence as a multi-level three-bedroom retreat with Atlantic views.

Four Seasons Rabat is best for travelers who want the capital’s history combined with true resort space, offering a rare palace-by-the-sea experience rather than a conventional urban hotel.
