Hotel Xcaret Arte

Hotel Xcaret Arte is less a conventional all-inclusive than a large resort built around an idea: Mexican creativity should be something guests actively experience. Architecture, craft, music, food and landscape are woven together across a complex of rivers, coves, stone structures and six themed casas.

The 900 suites are arranged across those casas, each emphasizing a different artistic discipline or atmosphere. Rooms use natural materials, textiles and Mexican references without feeling heavily themed, while terraces and water views keep the Riviera Maya setting constantly present.

Creative programming is unusually central. Guests can take part in pottery, painting, dance and textile workshops, then move from those quieter activities to rooftop pools, live music or the surrounding network of waterways and beaches.

The All-Fun Inclusive concept greatly expands the boundaries of the resort. Admission and transportation to Grupo Xcaret parks and excursions are bundled into the stay, while an unusually broad dining program gives the property more culinary ambition than the typical all-inclusive model.

Hotel Xcaret Arte is best for travelers who want activity and variety but still care about design and food. Its scale is substantial, yet the casas and workshops create enough distinct environments that the resort can feel like a collection of smaller experiences rather than one enormous hotel.
