Singapore’s first all-villa resort hides 62 private-pool villas across a forested Sentosa hillside, pairing Yabu Pushelberg design, South China Sea views and an unusually wellness-focused interpretation of Raffles.
Raffles Sentosa Singapore occupies roughly 100,000 square meters of tropical hillside on the quieter southern side of Sentosa. Despite being only about 15 minutes from Singapore’s central business district, the resort feels intentionally removed from the city and surrounded by dense landscaping.
The property contains 62 villas, each with its own private pool and terrace. Yabu Pushelberg designed the resort to flow with the terrain, using natural materials, high ceilings and commissioned local art to create a contemporary home-like atmosphere.
Wellbeing is built deeply into the experience. The spa occupies a heritage building, while fitness, yoga, hydrotherapy, jogging routes and Wellbeing Butler programming allow guests to shape stays around recovery and longevity as much as conventional resort leisure.
Dining spans Italian, Cantonese, Japanese and plant-forward concepts, with in-villa meals available for guests who prefer complete privacy. The main landscaped pool and proximity to Tanjong Beach and Sentosa Golf Club expand the resort beyond the individual villas.
Raffles Sentosa is strongest for travelers who want Singapore with genuine resort seclusion. The private pools, forest setting and villa-only format create an experience that feels dramatically different from the city’s tower hotels.
