Sina Centurion Palace occupies Palazzo Genovese in Dorsoduro, directly on the Grand Canal beside the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute. Punta della Dogana and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection are close by, while St. Mark’s Square can be reached on foot across the Accademia Bridge.

The hotel contains only 50 rooms and suites, each individually designed with bold fabrics, color and contemporary furnishings. Gold-leaf bathroom details and the contrast between modern interiors and the Venetian-Gothic façade give the property a personality very different from Venice’s more traditional palace hotels.

Wellness is intentionally limited compared with a resort, with complimentary access to the Sina Fitness Club rather than a large spa complex. The smaller amenity set suits a hotel whose real advantage is immediate access to one of Venice’s most atmospheric districts.

Antinoo’s Lounge & Restaurant serves Venetian cuisine with tables directly on the Grand Canal decking, turning water traffic into part of the dining experience. The lounge bar offers a similarly intimate place for an aperitivo.

Sina Centurion Palace is best for travelers who want Grand Canal frontage without sleeping inside an ornate period recreation. Its contemporary interiors and Dorsoduro location make it feel sophisticated, artistic and distinctly less formal than many Venetian grande dames.
