Six Senses Fort Barwara rises above the village of Chauth Ka Barwara in Rajasthan, roughly 2.5 hours from Jaipur and about 30 minutes from Ranthambore National Park. The 14th-century complex incorporates two original palaces and two temples inside its fortified walls.

A decade-long conservation effort transformed the fort into just 48 suites ranging from roughly 70 to 280 square meters. Contemporary Rajasthani interiors sit inside medieval walls, while terraces frame village life, the lake, surrounding hills and Chauth ka Barwara Mandir temple.

The spa occupies approximately 30,000 square feet across the original women’s palace and temple structures. Ayurveda, meditation, personalized wellness, sauna, steam, tepidarium, Swedana, cool and still pools, fitness and an aerial-yoga pavilion create one of the deepest wellness programs in Rajasthan.

Guests can pair that restoration with tiger safaris in Ranthambore, heritage and rewilding walks, temple blessings, cooking experiences and sunset drives through the countryside. The hotel’s Guest Experience Makers coordinate these outings around individual stays.

Dining uses produce from organic gardens across The Cortile, Rani Bagh and other venues, while the Viewing Gallery and private dining spaces take advantage of the fort’s towers and terraces. Fort Barwara is best for travelers who want Rajasthan’s history, wildlife and wellness fused into one extraordinary property.
