Solage sits along Silverado Trail on the edge of Calistoga, surrounded by vineyards and the warm northern end of Napa Valley. The property feels deliberately casual and modern, offering a contrast to the grand European-inspired resorts found elsewhere in wine country.

All 100 accommodations are either studios or suites with separate entrances and private outdoor patios. Studios begin around 515 square feet, while newer one- and two-bedroom cottage-style suites can reach roughly 1,900 square feet and add outdoor showers, soaking tubs or fire pits.

Spa Solage spans about 20,000 square feet and builds directly on Calistoga’s geothermal traditions. The Bathhouse includes mineral pools at varied temperatures, mud treatments and relaxation areas, supported by a 1,500-square-foot fitness center and complimentary movement classes.

Solbar serves polished California wine-country cooking throughout the day, while Picobar brings a more casual Mexican-Northern California mix beside the pool. Both make extensive use of regional produce and naturally fit the informal resort atmosphere.

Solage is best for travelers who want Napa luxury without formality. The geothermal pools, private-entry rooms and low-rise design make the property feel closer to a sophisticated Calistoga neighborhood than a traditional grand resort.
