Southall Farm & Inn sits on 425 acres outside historic Franklin, roughly south of Nashville but intentionally designed to feel much farther away. Orchards, apiaries, greenhouses, gardens, lake and forest are not decorative landscaping; they are working parts of the resort’s daily operation.
The inn contains 62 rooms and suites plus 16 separate cottages, with interiors inspired by Tennessee craft and the surrounding landscape. Standard Polk Rooms are a generous 525 square feet, while cottages provide more privacy and a stronger sense of living within the farm.
The Spa at Southall has eight treatment rooms, two suites, steam and sauna facilities and an outdoor mineral pool overlooking Lake Mishkin. The heated mineral water is infused with more than 60 salts and minerals, while meditation gardens and daily movement programming extend wellness into the landscape.
January, the signature restaurant, holds a Michelin Green Star and builds multi-course menus around what the farm is producing. Sojourner provides the more relaxed all-day alternative, and additional experiences range from wine-cellar dinners to global Tiffin menus.
