The Charleston Place

The Charleston Place sits at 205 Meeting Street in the heart of the historic district, within easy walking distance of the City Market, King Street and many of Charleston’s most important landmarks.

The hotel has the scale and ceremony of a classic urban grand hotel, but ongoing reinvestment has introduced a lighter and more contemporary interpretation of Southern luxury.

Rooms and suites begin at a comfortable 400 square feet, while Club accommodations add a private two-level lounge, all-day food and beverage and personalized butler service.

The reimagined rooftop includes a pool and garden bar, while the spa and fitness program add substantial wellness facilities. Restaurants and lounges give the property strong local energy throughout the day.

The Charleston Place is best for travelers who want Charleston’s historic core at the doorstep but prefer the amenities and service depth of a major luxury hotel rather than a small inn.
