The quieter, more traditional side of The Okura Tokyo, the Heritage Wing pairs 60-square-meter rooms, garden views, Japanese craft and dedicated guest spaces with access to the full hotel’s dining and wellness.
The Okura Heritage Wing is the lower-rise, more intimate half of The Okura Tokyo in Toranomon. Its 17-story structure is designed to express the hotel’s traditional Japanese identity through gardens, art and quieter circulation than the neighboring Prestige Tower.
Heritage rooms begin at an unusually generous 60 square meters and emphasize natural materials, shoji-inspired details and views toward the surrounding greenery. Balconies in selected rooms and large baths deepen the sense of residential calm.
The Heritage lobby incorporates elements inspired by the original Hotel Okura, including decorative lanterns, textiles and carefully curated art. Guests also receive access to the Okura Museum of Art and can explore the design legacy that made the original hotel internationally influential.
Nouvelle Epoque brings refined French dining into the wing, while the discreet Baron’s Bar offers a more private setting for whisky and cocktails. Heritage guests also benefit from the restaurants, pool, fitness and spa facilities across The Okura Tokyo.
The Heritage Wing is best for travelers who want The Okura’s famous Japanese modernism in its most serene form. The limited room count, larger accommodations and garden outlook create an experience that feels distinctly separate from a conventional Tokyo high-rise.
