The St. Regis Shenzhen Bao'an
André Fu’s new St. Regis in Bao’an brings 289 spacious rooms to Shenzhen’s western waterfront, with Qianhai Bay views, a rooftop bar, indoor pool and a more residential take on the brand.
The St. Regis Shenzhen Bao’an sits in the rapidly developing western side of Shenzhen near OH Bay, the Bay Opera and Qianhai. Its high floors open toward both the city and Qianhai Bay, giving the hotel a very different orientation from the older St. Regis in Luohu.
Architect and designer André Fu shaped the interiors as a contemporary urban mansion, combining New York glamour with Shenzhen energy. All 289 rooms and suites begin around 50 square meters and use dark oak, sage tones, Carrara marble and oriental-inspired screens.
The wellness floor includes a St. Regis Spa with four treatment rooms, a modern fitness center and an indoor swimming pool. The scale is intentionally controlled, matching the hotel’s more intimate residential mood.
Four restaurants and bars include Yan Ting, The Drawing Room and the open-air Astor Terrace Bar. The evening sabrage ceremony takes place on the 35th floor, using the bay and skyline as a theatrical backdrop.
The St. Regis Shenzhen Bao’an is best for travelers focused on Qianhai, Bao’an or western Shenzhen who still want a full luxury product. André Fu’s design and the bay views make it feel genuinely distinct from the older downtown St. Regis.
